A childhood spent on the farm gave Pippa Hill a love of animals and birds, which shows in her work. The animals she encountered every day are lovingly recreated in clay in a most realistic fashion. An early fascination with mud - of which there was an abundance on the farm - has developed over the years into a highly skilled artform in the world of ceramics.

Her six rescue cats have also provided inspiration for some of Pippa’s works - her eye for detail in the poses showing a real understanding of the animal form.

Pippa also teaches the art of ceramics for those interested in learning how to progress their skills in this fascinating craft.
