I have just completed writing the first book on drag bike racing in the UK, which is due for launch by Veloce Publishing in November 2010.

Covering a twenty year time period, starting with the International Drag Racing Festivals in 1964, it features the riders and the amazing machinery they rode down the quarter mile in the formative years of the sport in Europe. There are 100 pictures illustrating the book - mostly taken by myself. They highlight the diversity of approach taken to be the quickest rider in this explosive sport.
