My lifelong passion for photography began at an early age, when it was mainly put to good use at covering a variety of motor and motorcycle sport, with a particular interest in drag racing.

Over a period of 12 years I supplied many publications in Europe, America and this country with my work - often accompanied by feature articles.

I worked as a mechanical designer by profession -  designing mobile and satellite phones - but photography has always been my main interest.

The advent of digital imaging saw me moving into this exciting new area in 1992, when it was still very much in its infancy. With some 17 years experience of using Photoshop, I have accumulated a deep understanding of this exciting medium - which continues to advance every year.

Since 2003 I have worked as a full-time freelance photographer and photojournalist, combining commercial work and picture sales. I am available for commissions in a range of subjects.  My specialities are landscape, abstract, image manipulation, plants and pet portraits.

A  move back to Dorset in 2004 - my wife comes from Bridport - resulted in my joining the Monkton Gallery artists co-operative for 2005.

I was invited to join the Somerset Guild of Craftsmen as a full craft member in 2005.              My pictures are currently available in galleries in Somerset, Devon and Dorset.

In 2006 I co-founded the Artsinn group to stage local exhibitions of artwork.

Currently I am working on the first book on motorcycle drag racing in the UK.
